stick around for events, best buys
excellent home to art events as well as books. possibly the best magazine rack in town, competing well with the best chains. come here for the most interesting second hand books in town if you couldn't find another as compeeling as Subteranean books. none the less, the place to read in town

Best Independent Book Store
Left Bank Books - excellent variety. Bestsellers, artists, poetry, magazines. They have a store kitten named Spike. And you're not feeding the corporate culture by buying here. - , posted 08/15/05
