extremely useful
I found this class to be incredibly enlightening and highly useful in the attempt to pass the LCSW exam. This course comes with a manual that does a fabulous job reviewing the most salient points of, somehow, almost all areas of social work material. Furthermore, the a significant part of the course focused on teaching us how to take a standardized test. This really helps people to match their expectations of what the test will be like with what it is actually like.

Indeed, the course does an excellent job of helping you to realize what you have gotten yourself into...*chuckle*...but seriously does mentally prepare a person for a seriously challenging exam. There were, perhaps, 2 questions out of 170 that had straightforward answers- the rest were pretty debatable! At any rate, I cannot figure out if I am more surprised that I passed at all, or that I passed by 0%.

My supervisor told me that she has never known a person to take the above mentioned course and fail the exam. I am gratefully no exception to the rule, but just barely passing with a 70%. Thanks to Sophia (Dr. D.) for preparing me as much as possible and my supervisor, Beth, for her wise recommendation that I will pass along to many, many other people, as well as the ‘good test-taking vibes’ she sent my way! ;) I guess they did the trick. I think the bananas helped, too.
